They say "The Patriot" is going to be a big hit. And if people are not interested in freedom right after they see it, they never will be.

Stand outside the theater when the movie lets out. Hand out copies of the Declaration of Independence, Constitiution, or Bill of Rights. Maybe use a highlighter or a different font to emphasize certain parts, and add a last page of the addresses of your repersentatives and of your choice of pro-freedom (not only pro-gun) organizations.

Ask the people, "Have you even read what they fought and died for?"

If you are in an open carry state, wear a rifle across your back. If not use a toy gun. This may get the attention of those who would ignore you. If possible, wear Revolutionary War period garb and carry the appropriate weapon!

If you are on a public sidewalk you have the right to hand out papers. If not, they may ask you to leave and get you for tresspassing if you don't. But wouldn't it be great publicity to be arrested for handing out copies of the constitution, especially if you are in costume with a musket! Be sure to have a friend there with a camcorder.

Good idea! Nix the guns! The outfit might make the sheeple think you're part of the movie promotion and they might actually read what our country was about. If SAS could afford to sponser a commercial in the front of the movie (I'd open the mad money for this donation) that said something to the effect "Americans, we want you to consider the sacrafice our forefathers made to give us this country. Isn't it time we honored them and restored the INDIVIDUAL rights they died for. Something along those lines might wake some that are sleeping up.

What if it was obviously a toy gun ?

The thing is, usually when you try to hand out papers to a crowd, they just walk by or take the paper but throw it away without reading it. I just wanted some visual prop to get their attention. Maybe a flag.

I wish I knew some re-enactors!

I kinda like the idea of a guy in a "three cornered hat" and an AR on his back handing out copies of molon labe!

AZ open carry or not, somebody's gonna call the cops! And rightly so, if I was waiting to pick up my son or daughter I would!

Still, I may just go for it(sans armour).

I also liked the post about the results of signing the Declaration of Indy.
This would seem to be an opportunity to reestablish in peoples minds what the 2nd was and is all about.

Why, exactly would you call the cops? Anyone with a gun must be a criminal?
