TRUMAN TO RUN FOR SENATE IN 2002
"With as long as Harry has been dead,he should win in a landslide"

Quickly following the victory of Mel Carnahan,the Missouri Democratic Committee has announced their choice for Senate in 2002,the late President Harry S.Truman."The people have spoken and we are here to support them no matter how silly it might seem."

The Republican Party was unprepared to announce their candidate,but stated that they are,"Searching the cemetaries with a fine tooth comb.The choice of which dead person to represent the people of Missouri is not to be taken lightly."

In related news,a circuit judge has ordered that people buried in St.Louis will be allowed to vote in the next election,and the polls will remain open late to accommodate their needs."The Fifteenth Amendment to the Constitution protects the right of everyone to vote,not just the living.If the dead can win then the dead should be allowed to vote!"

Senator elect Hillary Clinton applauded Missouri for it`s progressive thinking,stating that she plans to run for the Senate in Missouri once she is dead.She hinted at being a big Cardinals fan.
 
Actually this strikes too close to reality to be funny. :(
But it did get a slight chuckle from me for the first time since the debacle in St. Louis. ;)

LOL. That's gold! I remember reading about how some ancient cultures revered dead kings. They would actually consult the mummies on important matters. The way things are going we aren't too far from that.

Now they have two requirements for liberal voters. The first was dumb and now they've added dead.
At one time I thought the people would want to cleanse the system but corruption is alive and and evil as ever.

In Texas we're famous for dead people voting, but in MO the have dead people run.... and win elected office!
