I have agreed to accept a position in Iraq as a civilian contractor. As I have presented my decision to my family and co-workers I have not been able to recruit one person to sign-up with me or agree with my decision.
That got me to thinking, what the hell? What if every American said...."hell no, not me, it's too dangerous." What if our forefathers had the same attitude that these people here have today? This country has changed and not for the better I dear say. We are a "Nation of Cowards" as Jeffrey R. Snyder has described in his book.
I served 10 years in the U.S. Navy and wanted to be involved in every engagement possible. Unfortunately I was not able to participate in a single one. "Why would you want to fight?" you might ask? Simple, I love my country, not necessarily my government, but my country. Our government is not a good representation of what this great country is, it's a detraction. I could care less what happens in Washington D.C. they do NOTHING for me, other Americans do it, we do it for each other.
I love my country so much that I wanted to kill and destroy every threat that was in existence. Man, woman and child, if it was a threat I wanted it dead. I'm not politically correct. I don't care about anyone's feelings. I care about my country and it's survival and dominance.
After my 10 years of service and observations of our American society I feel repulsed by those that don't like our country, those that could care less about the military or it's traditions and our heritage. Bill Clinton and his crony's attempts to globalize my America are sickening and criminal. These are my enemies as much as are the terrorists who wish us destroyed.
Our military is sacrificing and dying to ensure the survival and security of our great country. It sickens me that those that oppose our American way of life get to exist to b*tch about how immoral and criminal the rest of us are while riding on the coattails of those that save them everyday. I guess we all can't be p*ssies.
