Watched "Another 48 hours" last night starring Eddie Murphy
and Nick Nolte.

I think this movie was made in 1989? or so. I was amazed at
how many wheels guns both good and bad guys used. I counted
only one auto in the whole flick and it was a DE .50 of all things.

It was nice to see cops carry .357's again :D Eddie had a small
Smith J frame as his BUG.

Now a days all you see are autos anymore in movies.

In the original 48 hours- Nick Nolte used a 4" S&W model 29, then a 1911.

In another 48 Hours it was a stainless or nickel 4" 29, I think. I guess it could have been a model 629. Who knows?

It's been a long time since I've seen those movies. But yeah, I like them both.

In Another 48 hrs Nolte starts with his blue 4" Model 29 but then has to change to his backup trunk gun, which is a stainless 4" Model 629.

The first movie was much better than the second one. Disappointed that they didn't use speed loaders like in the first one, but at least they showed him reloading once in awhile.
