This man is going to try to take away all of our handguns. All of us legal, law abiding owners who paid hard earned money for our handguns, which we use appropriately, are going to be penalized heavily if this idiot gets re elected. And considering the number of idiots in Canada it's a real possibility that he will be re elected.

This really infuriates me and I will absolutely not cooperate with any laws banning handguns. You will never ever see me giving my hard earned weapons up for a scumbag like that.

Don't let the same crap happen to you guys down south.

It is a step towards chaos, and chaos is the final step towards:cool: the end of the world. You can be confident that they will take your guns because you abide by the law and register, so they know where your gun is. You can't be confident that they will get the gun of the man that robs you on the street, cause he is a criminal and doesn't register. And when he gets out of jail 6 months later, he can easily find another gun, cause there will always be ways of illegal people to obtain illegal guns.

We've been fighting, with some success. A lot depends on the '06 and '08 elections though.

The ultimate goal

The Canadian government's deal is to now claim (after banning all guns there) that any gun problem after that, is the fault of the U.S., since "all the guns come from there".
Then after signing on to the U.N. "Small arms treaty" they are going to want to pressure the U.S. to sign on to it.

The republicans have refused to join the "discussion meetings" on it (and took a lot of heat for it from U.N. lovers) thus far, but it is not too far off, if we elect a leftist anti-gunner, such as Clinton, Schumer, Kerry, Feinstien, Waxler, etc. along with a leftist Senate majority.

It is being pushed by the U.N. leftists for us to sign on to such a treaty, and as soon as we hand over the Senate and the Executive Branch to the left, it will happen. There is no doubt at all. Then the registration by the U.N., of all "small arms" begins, and your CCW goes out the window, along with your right to even have them in your home.

But it is "for the children" after all.

We can be safe then, like Laos, Cambodia, China, N. Korea, Russia, etc.
 
Why don't we just swap with them all the gun grabbing idiots can immirgrate up to canada and all the intelligent canadians can immirgrate to the U.S.A.;)
 
I thought I would give everyone a little update. The man who tried to take our handguns has been removed from power and his party has been severely shunned. The liberal party of Canada is under constant criminal investigations now for all their misdoings.

The conservative government (Which is kind of like a moderate republican government in the states) has now decided to banish the long gun registry and no one is required to register their rifles anymore. This is a real victory for us!

I saw a cool T-Shirt today that is along these lines.

The front says, "What is the diffinition of Canadian?" The back says, "An unarmmed American with health care.":eek:

Unfourtuantely we already have people in our government like that now.:barf:
 
Well, I'm not unarmed but I do have healthcare. Insurance from my employer too :cool:

The interesting thing is that per capita, Canadians have about the same number of guns as Americans. Unfortunately, because most people east of Ontario are stupid and afraid of machinery of all kinds, they promote gun control.

If those idiots spent nearly as much time harassing drunk drivers as they did legal owners of firearms, maybe there'd be fewer drunk driving deaths. Of course the idiots would rather demonize a useful tool being used by responsible people, instead of punish irresponsible drunk drivers who take far more innocent lives per year.. Stupid!
 
you, um, have heard of the Democratic Party right? WE have been fighting these Euro-wannabes for half a centruty now. it's nothing new to us, especially in the PRK, PRM, and PRNY.
