And I saw a thread about there being a national CCW permit exemption (or something like that) for "qualified" peace officers. Someone was saying that the dog catcher qualified for this and they wanted to "buy" an animal shelter or ASPCA facility to get in on the deal.
OK, nothing wrong with that idea but I gotta ask, is it possible? I don't believe so, but who the heck am I to kill anothe mans dreams.
So, I got to thinking. Even here in Commiefornia there's land available for cheap. 10 acres ought to do it. Can get 10 acs. in the sierra's for not a bad price. Just gotta be located in the COUNTY and not within city limits.
Buy the land, incorp as a city, appoint yourself the chief of police and you are now a "qualified" peace officer.
Sounds stoopid but it also sound feasible. Wonder if anyone will try it.
