Just wanted to pass along something for everyone out there. I have been hitting up a lot of internet auctions lately, primarily to find ammo (which I have, occasionally at decent prices) as well as firearms when nobody realizes what they have and it goes for a good price. I recently had several bids from HiBid Auctions that disappeared, along with the item itself. I called them to find out why, and they said that any item that they suspected of being an “assault weapon” would be automatically removed from the system. Several of the bids that disappeared were handguns, and one was for some M1 Carbine magazines, so they seem to be willing to declare most anything an “assault weapon”. Just a heads-up.
