Wards Western Field model 60 sbp620a - schematics?

Looking for shcematics or instructions for assembly/disassembly. This particular firearm has been inactive for over 20 years and is in fantastic shape. It's also my first forray into firearms outside of 22's and black powder, so I want to treat her like a lady. Need to clean and oil her up before I feel comfortable taking her out to the range/woods.

At this point she's been taken down so far as I and another much more experienced friend can get her. The trigger assembly seems to be frozen in place and the stock screw is stuck as well. This might normally nescessitate a lazier approach (like neglecting to clean/oil the inner most workings), but in this case the guard/guide of magazine loading port has become dislodged and without removing the trigger guard this is a real pain.

Thanks,

DM

you might try putting the whole trigger assembly in some wd40 for about 3 to 5 days. just let it soak and do its job. keep adding wd40 as needed.

WD 40 will varnish and/or gum.
Better off using gun oil or machine oil.

Or just spraying it down with GunSubber or brake cleaner and following up with RemOil or Ballistol

Been using FPS for cleaning and lubing to date. My more mechanically apt friend managed to get the guard back in place last night after I had left for the evening. So for the time being I'll let the trigger guard rest and wait for the schematics.

Thanks again all
