Ok here is a link to ABCNews, they are "Cracking Down on Raves", because some do drugs there. They are even charging people that merely own the venues that host these parties. As someone that frequently goes to parties, yes there are drugs there (like ANY other party/club/concert/school you goto), I have never seen one where the usage was more prevalant at one than any other type of party.

Next I guess they will label anyone that attends a "rave" as a dangerous drug user.

Dont you just love what this Kountry is turning into??
 
Argh. Yet another example of letting media fiction guide public policy.

My little brother goes to alot of these parties, and I can attest through him that if you openly use any kind of illegal substances at a rave club, you will get kicked out so fast you'll leave a vacuum behind. Every venue I've ever seen was totally substance-free, and says so up front.
