Greetings, Be advised that The Pistol Postal
Associates Club is actively seeking new member's, as we get ready to start the 3rd
round of competition. We have been doing
this for almost a year now, and have got
it down to a fine science! We currently
have member's representing Australia and
New Zealand; as well as the states of
Alabama, Texas, Kansas, Oregon, Wisconsin,
Michigan, and Alaska.
You might ask, "Who can compete"? The answer
is anyone who loves to shoot handguns. We
use a standard B9 target, shot from a distance of 50 feet; recording 10 shot's
slow fire. We count hit's starting with
the 8 ring; anything that does not cut
the 8 is a miss. We shoot approximately
every other week, for a total of ten
target's. There is nothing to win; and
likewise there are no dues. Just make
a lot of friends and earn bragging right's;
for a little while. Our competition amongest
our shooter's is very strong; most are better
than average shooter's, who have a will to
improve. You ask, "What kind'a gun qualifies
for this shoot out"? The answer is, ANY
revolver or semi-auto larger than .32 caliber
with barrel's not exceeding 10 inches in length. NO optics are allowed, such as scopes, laser's, red-dot's,etc. The use of
aftermarket iron sight's, grips and altered
trigger's are permitted.
The Pistol Postal Associates is a non-profit
organization made up of shooter's from all
walks of life; who have the common interest
of shooting in mind. Anyone interested for
further details, please contact our chief
excutive officer Mr. Dick Fors at the following address: dp-fors@swbell.net, or
myself Mr. Dan Ford at the following address:
dford9@bellsouth.net. In the event that we
are tied up please contact charter member
Mr. Cliff Collins at Capbuster@webtv.net
Any of us will be glad to provide you with
a set of rules, and introduce you to our
member's. Looking forward to hearing from
you in the near future. Remember, the new
round 3 matche's begin on March 1!!!
Good Luck & Best Wishes To All,
Ala Dan, N.R.A. Life Member
PS: International Shooter's are especially
wanted?
