Montgomery Community College in Troy, NC
is seeking a full-time Gunsmithing instructor due to the
retirement of one of our long-term faculty members.
Job Requirements: Associate degree in gunsmithing or related field with five
years of documented full-time gunsmithing experience. Post secondary teaching
experience a plus. Must demonstrate knowledge of machining, stock work, and
design/functional theory. Computer skills and welding experience a plus.
• Instructor teaches day and evening classes.
• Instructor is an ambassador for the program and the college at various events
and shows held throughout the year.
• Instructor has good contacts/excellent working relationships within the industry.
• Salary range $3,980 - $4,480 monthly, commensurate with education.
