Anyone know a source where I can purchase a field manual for the British Jungle Carbine No. 5MKIRO (F) in.303 caliber? Want manual similar to our Department of the Army field manual produced for the U,S, Rifle Caliber .30 ,M1 assuming the British produced such detailed manuals. Thank you for your assistance. I'm not sure if there ever was one. the rifle is so close in design to the NO4 than both could be covered by a single manual. aside from the wood configuration and muzzle they operate exactly the same.

I know of no specific manual for the #5, There are on-line resources for the manuals for the #4 which is functionally identical though. A set of those & a parts list for the #5 should do what you need nicely.
Probably the best written set are the Canadian ones.
Try a search for them online as PDF files.

Operation of the No5 is the same as the No4, the full set of Enfield No4 manuals from the Canadian Military are here:

The only real difference is the sighting in instructions, because the sight radius is shorter. Those can be found here:

There was a scanned copy of the British Army Enfield manuals online somewhere, but damn if I can find it.

Irritates me I didn't download a copy and file it away somewhere.
