Want opinions on Sig 1911 Target

I was hoping to get opinions on the Sig 1911 Target which a good friend of mine is eyeing. This is the Sig 1911 with adjustable sights and which is stainless. I was looking at it yesterday and it looked like a good pistol. It departs from the traditional 1911 design by using an external extractor, which my research seems to indicate works fine.

Interested in any and all opinions. My buddy wants to get into the .45 world and he likes Sigs. Me, I have 7 1911s so probably don't need another one, in case you were wondering.

What does he shoot now?
How about letting him try your 1911s before he spends a large chunk of change only to find he doesn't really like them, all those endless magazine articles to the contrary.
Just a thought.

I have the traditional match in 9mm. The gun is very reliable and accurate. The trigger pull to me was so so. I replaced the hammer and sear now it's better. Also the sights are 3 dot which I don't get or like for a target gun. . It now has a plain black rear with a fiber optic front sight.

My Bud has already shot one of my 1911s and he liked it.

He shoots a Sig 226 9mm now.

The Sig Target 1911 comes with a white front dot sight and plain black adjustable rear sight. Fit and finish look excellent.

I am interested in the feedback.I needed a ramped 38 Super barrel for a project.I found a new Sig/Sauer barrel,in packaging,on ebay for a very low price.About 1/3 the price of good,name brand,aftermarket barrels.(OK,I won bid with $65)
Its Korean made,(at least, this barrel is)stainless...machining is clean and crisp.
At this point,I can't see anything to complain about.
I have what I need for fit .
IMO,the Koreans can make good stuff. I doubt Sig/Sauer would put their name on junk.
