Herr Walther

New member
I found out this morning that overall, my Walther collection increased in value by about $600.00.

Just got a new copy of Fjestads.

Herr Walther, what does your Fjestads say about a Colt 1911, C16,6xx in NRA 90% to 95% condition?

Also, these little Mausers, 7.65 (.32 Auto), the ones with the cocking indicator on the back? 1920s manufacture; NRA 50% or so.

Although my specialty is Walthers, I will try and research this for you.

This is a regular finish 1911. Approximate values are:

95%-$1200, 90%-$900, 80%-$700
Subtract 15% if without cardboard box in 100% condition only. Approximately 138,532 were manufactured between 1912 and 1925.

I need more information about the Mauser. There were several manufactured in this time frame. Is there a model number anywhere on the pistol. What do the proof marks look like? What is the barrel length? Hard rubber or wood stocks?

One is 235xxx, stamped "1920" on the slide. Noticeable holster wear at the front of the frame, and worn grip; otherwise, full finish.

The other is 250xxx. Somewhat less wear and no date stamp on slide.

One-piece "wraparound" wood grip on both.

Also a "Walther's Patent, Cal 7.65", 236xxx. On right side of slide, Waffenfabrik Walther Zella Mehlis."

Long as we're at it, a Lilliput Kal 6.35, Modell 1927, 34xxx. Complete with little flap-holster, for belt wear!

Thanx,
