walther sport modell kal.22

I have the walther sportmodell rifle, but i read other storys on this same rifle and there was talk of an eagle stamp over a swastika, my rifle does not have that stamp on it. is there a reason for that? Is my rifle before the hitler youth training or after? The serial number is....39849 W.... Any info would be great. thanks.
