Walther PP

I have a Walther PP manufactured around 1941 in .32 acp.

The double action feature no longer works and I was wondering if any one has insight where I may be able to get whatever parts I would need to make to repair.

Also, where an I find a decent schematic of the PP?

Check www.gunpartscorp.com for parts. Some pre- and war-time guns may require minor fitting. My first thought would be the trigger spring (#19 in stevespages), and that it has just jumped out of the track.

In DA mode, the hammer has a spring-actuated pawl at the lower front, that the spring could be collapsed on, the pawl stuck in over rust or dirt and not extended, or broken off. That is what controls the double action, as they use the same sear for both SA and DA. If the pawl is not broken, a pin holds it in, so drive that out of the hammer, and the pawl and spring will come out the front of it. Most places sell the hammer as an assembly, with this included. Numrich has them for around $35.00.
