I had one of the first ones. It is similar, but not exactly like the Glock. If you want a trigger resembling a Glock you want a P990. The QA holds the striker at a partially tensioned position when the slide is cycled. The Glock differs in that the first bit of travel goes to bring the striker into the cocked position and then drops it. The QA already has the striker in the latter position and the trigger serves only to drop it. The trigger resembles a single action, short throw that seems stiff til it breaks. It took some getting used to, but I managed to qualify with it.
Just a warning, no flames, I fired about 300rds thru my QA before the frame developed a crack. The crack was right in the light attachment groove. This was not a mold mark as suggested by others, it was examined by a gunsmith and confirmed to be a crack. It may have been no big deal, but I traded it for a H&K USPc in .40. I just couldn't warm up to the QA after this.
