Walther P99 questions ...

Is it true they are now using Meggar mags as factory standard?

What parts are tenifer coated, or is that only an option on the slide of one certain model?

And how do they stand up against your other pistols in reliability and accuracy?

The p99 is a fantastic weapon. My gun will shoot 2.50 groups unrested at 25yards.They do use Meggar mags from the factory. As far as the Tennifer question,I myself would like to know.I can not tell if mine is coated or blued.People tell me it is coated but I can see the machining of the steel.Maybe it is a light coating.I would like to know.If you dont own one of these, buy one!

Meg-Gar always did make the the OEM mags for Walther.
The frame is polymer, so the only part that needs to be blued is the slide. The barrel is stainless steel. I believe that the slide is also.
My P99 will shoot 2.5-3.0 in groups at 25yds.
That is way good enough for it's intended purpose as a combat pistol.
I like the adjustable grips.
