Walther P88!

I finally did it, I bought a Walther P88! Man am I psyched, this gun is way cool. Can't wait to shoot it, hopefully later today after I apply for my CCW that is.:D

Couple of observations:
1 It is smaller than I thought it would be. It is very close to my P99 in length and general size. The slide is actually narrower( to my eye) than the P99's.
2 The grip is pretty damn FAT. Much bigger than the P99. Luckily not too big for my hands, that was one concern I had going into the purchase.
Anyway, I am very happy right now. This is the gun that I always wanted, just think it looks very cool. Hopefully I will be even happier after shooting it , we'll see. Woohoo!:D

Way cool!! If they wern't so bloody hard to find and expensive, here in AZ, I'd have one. Oh well, guess I'll just have to be content with my P5. :)
 
Congrats on the great gun. I did fing the grip to be a little too fat for me, otherwise I probably would have bought one instead of the P99.

BTW, there's a dealer in McKinney, Texas who has a NIB for $1100 - name's DocsWalthers. He had another one a while back for $725, it definitely wasn't NIB, though. Still a great looking gun.
