I finally had a chance to inspect a new Walther Creed at an LGS. This is a nice overall package at a sub $400.00 price point. I do think this gun is top heavy compared to the PPX that it replaces, but I could get used to it once I got my hand into it. Much like the PPX, this gun would be great to shoot, the trigger is typically Walther, which is terrific, especially for a DAO. Unfortunately I could still pull the trigger with my thumb covering the bobbed hammer, but this is a minor safety issue. The biggest issue with the Creed affects all new 9mm's that normally come with mags greater than 15 rounds, here in CO we only get the 10rd. mag boxed sets because of the stupid law which hasn't gone away (yet). I'd certainly like to try one of these out, though!
