I'm in Florida & we have many wallmarts but a new breed of grifters have invaded the ammo buisness my neighbor works at Wallmart & they line up at opening witha few of there friends & buy every pistol ammo they can get they sell in the flea market & in the st pete classified ! same guys asking almost double the price they brag at the flea saying you snooze you lose ! they & even the gun shops are doing the same nonsense there are only a few gun shops in St Pete so its not rocket science to figure who they are walk in and ask for a box of 45 9 mm or any other caliber & see if I'm wrong I got on line because I am sick of these grifters the ammo sellers at the gun shows are so out of line they ask any price & get nasty if you question them on the prices ..... they had a field day with high cap magazines now its ammo nest it will be dope

I've read of this happening for quite some time now. It really frustrates the heck out of me too. I own a 44 Mag, and chose that caliber because it's very popular and here to stay. I could find ammo anywhere, any time. Not now. On the flip side it has me getting into handloading. The cost goes way down, and I get exactly what I want. Found some online places you can get affordable ammo too. One guy sells reloads with your brass for about $10/50 plus shipping.
