With the semi auto successor also from the attic (Waffenfabrik Bern Parabellum 06/24 in .30 Luger / 7.65 mm Parabellum)

The 10.4 mm Swiss is a metallic centerfire cartridge, with a heeled bullet (like .22 lr), which means that the bullet is the same diameter as the case, and has a narrower "heel" portion that fits in the case.

I would like one of those!!!! I have a stash of Swiss rifles and one lone 1929 revolver, either of those would look good next to them. One gun I would like to get but would be tough to spend the cash would be a Swiss luger.

That’s a really great piece of history and kudos to you and your family for the obvious care it’s received over the long years!

My goodness.

That revolver certainly is in pristine condition. Did you really find it in your grandfather's attic?

By the way, notice the Swiss Luger had a grip safety, which the standard German P08 Luger did not. The 1900 American Eagle Lugers also had a grip safety.

Not my grandpa but yes, an acquaintance’s grandpa who was a gunsmith in the 50ies. The Luger, a Beretta 1934 and a few others were there also.

The Swiss army specified a grip safety when they ordered their first Lugers in 1900.

I'd like to see pictures of the other finds.

In addition to the revolver and the Luger, there was a Beretta 1934
