Waco tests may show shots, U.S. lawyer says

I hope the truth gets out this time. Our leaders(?) are running amuck and we need to wrestle our country back.
I would like nothing better than see sniper Lon get his due!

I heard in an interview with a author of a new book on waco on ArtBell. He stated that there was not only an American Delta force detachment, but several foriegn SpecOps units present on the day the siege ended. There were upwards of 20 delta operators who actively participated in the final raid and several GSG9, and Israeli antiterror operators present in the capacity of observers. Also, the author made the point that only the secretary of defense and the President of the United States could authorize the use of Delta operators. The Secretary of defense denied authorizing such action. Bill Clinton has too. But durring the inquiry the author was contacted by House Counsel for the president Vince Foster. Shortly thereafter he commited suicide. Makes one wonder Huh! Sic semper tyrannis!

Hmm.

It's amazing how this is snowballing.

I wonder how long it will be before someone swears that a full complement of UN Peacekeepers was there.

Well, call me a dumba$$, but here's what I make of the business whereby they can't reproduce the exact characteristics of the original FLIR camera unit.

The vendors would know the models in existense during that time, and inventory records would also verify specifics from aircraft maintenance records. And the equiptment in question would have a very specific set of operating parameters, and features. You know, the stuff they used to lure the contracts...
Unless, of course, it's top secret...

Seems to me that most makers of milspec equiptment are fairly close in their technologies, and generally the deciding factor on contract awards is price (the highest!).
If that's true, then wouldn't the FLIR systems from say, Desert Storm, be capable of the same degree of accuracy/sensitivity/etc. I know, they're two differnt systems, designed for a different mission, but the key factor is whether they're able to discern a temperature change quick enough to analyze a powder flash from an automatic weapon fire, say M4, or MP5 type compliment.

It's been said that the flashs were reflections from the Sun. And knowing that FLIR interprets only IR differences from different bodies. The reflection would have had to be a very good IR reflector, something like Gold, which is the best reflector of IR known. And I doubt that large chunks of gold, either polished, or in the rough were lying around out there. Of course, the average schmoe wouldn't know about the gold reflector stuff either.

And another thing about using more current technology, I wouldn't go by that either. Because the newer equiptment probably has the refined ability to negate flash-fire from it's analysis. Possibly as a means to add life to the sensing element(s), and to increase the units ability to differentiate thermal patterns such as thermal blanketing used to "camoflauge" yourself from detection.
Also the newer technology most likely has the programmable ability to completely ignore signatures like powder flash.

Best Regards,
Don

The most foolish mistake we could make would be to allow the subjected people to carry arms; history shows that all conquerers who have allowed their subjected people to carry arms have prepared their own fall.
