Waco Shootout Weaponry

I know there were a couple threads about the Waco shootout itself, but I never saw anything about the CNN photo spread from a couple weeks ago. Obviously, the images are graphic and NSFW.

I just thought this was an interesting look at the weapons carried by these folks. There seems to be an eclectic collection of weaponry, from a Smith & Wesson Shield in a hybrid holster to numerous revolvers and a "tactified" Mossberg shotgun.

Just thought people might be interested to see this. Might be fun to see if we can identify some of these firearms as well.

I saw some Smith revolvers, Keltec PF9, Keltec Sub2k, no-name AR15 slickside with a Nikon Monarch scope and laser (who does that?), Bersa, G19 w/G17 Mag... don't know what's in the toilet though.

pic 16 THE CHAINSAW WITH additional forward grip!
Biker ninja?
Pic 18 shows a hatchet that costs like $5. Made in china out of super cheap/soft steel. Perfect for close quarters gang braw shenanigans.

Pic #23: Really? Don't they want to get anything for those at auction?

The laser can be very effective for intimidation when making an exchange.

20 and 21 are the same gun.
#1 guy didn't even aim looks like
Toilet was flushed after the gun was put in it.

A lot of blood for 44rds, 12 of which were police officers.

Looks like not many of the weapons weren't even used.

In pic #24, there seems to be some sort of monofilament line or something in there. Anybody know why or what sort of container the holster is in? Tool box? Some sort of bin in a car?

Waco is a crossroads of sorts lots of people going someplace else stopped there. No type in particular, just fringe types.

Amarillo, Albuquerque are kinda the same way as other towns dotted along major corridors across the country.

I think there was a lot of melee combat also.

That would explain it, I assume as most shoot outs go, most of the rounds fired were misses. Most of the guns weren't even used. Looks like the Taurus was used; the guy in the first pic looks like he was shooting the Taurus... Probably dumped it in the toilet

Possibly, but a good portion of the shots fired were from SWAT members using rifles. They were also, at least initially, shooting from positions outside the conflict and had been geared up for action. I imagine their hit ratio would be much higher than average police officers or civilians in unexpected direct confrontations. At least, I would hope so.

It's funny, you think of bike gangs like this being intimidating, but when you really look at their weapons, and their physical condition, it's just kind of pathetic. Not much to look at is it?

If i were Smith and Wesson, I'd use that Taurus Toilet photo in my next ad campaign.:D
