I am just 45 minutes east of your friend in TN. He should go to RattlesSnake Ridge in Clarksville. They offer top notch training in all areas and supposedly offer the best concealed handgun course. Very large location with many ranges and scenarios. They cater to military and LE, so it ought to be good.
