vz.24 BRNO serial numbers to determine when it was built

I read that there needs to be an alpha character in the serial number and other markings. Mine has only 5 numbers 187xx. The receiver ring doesn't have any scratches or stippled areas around the serial number. Are there any other places where the marks would be like under the wood. How can I find the date of manufacture?
