voter fraud

If they don't get bathroom breaks, that should be a little clue that they're passing way too many useless and unnecessary laws. Looks like three quarters of the legislature was on a bathroom break during that vote, in any case.

They should switch to a smart-card system, where the voting button won't be active unless the legislator's card is inserted.

But of course, if they wanted to do anything about this rule, they'd have done it already.

What's the point? They already use key authentication, and legislators just leave their keys there. Switch to cards, and what stops them from loaning their cards to other lawmakers to vote for them?

The more effective measure would be to enforce the rules already in place.

Hey, maybe if they all show up at once we can let them vote themselves some bathroom breaks.

The best part, to me, was watching multiple legislators practically race to hit an absent member's button; it's like legislation by slapjack.
