Thanks in advance.

Have two Vortex Strikefire red/green dot scopes.
They work fine and are dependable. The Vortex
company has an great customer service reputation.

My StrikeFire is excellent. The lens caps don't like to stay on but otherwise it's great.

More importantly, mine didn't come with the mounting rings (I think the gun store guy nabbed then). I called customer support and they were truly outstanding, a real person called ME on my schedule , then overnighted the rings. They clearly believe in their products, which is a very comforting fact.

^^ like he said, this company is top notch. I emailed them prior to painting my rifle and scope. Wanted to make sure that the warranty would still be good. They responded promptly and basically said, "just don't paint the glass! Your warranty stands." They stand behind their stuff, so now I've got three. PST 4-16x50 FFP on the bolt action, Diamondback 4-12x40 AO on my AR varminter and a 3-9x40 Crossfire II on my little Marlin. I got no beef with any of them.

Vortex Crossfire 4-16x, hasn't given me any trouble.

Crossfire II

I have a Vortex Crossfire II 3-9x40 on my Mauser and I couldn't be happier especially for $140. Amazing glass, shocking eye relief, great clarity, no blurriness. You won't be disappointed especially because of the UNLIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!

Vortex Viper PST 4-16X50, and a Vortex StrikeFire Red/Green-Dot for my Rock River AR-15. Very happy with them!

I've been very pleased with the Vortex SPARC and some Vortex Binoculars I own.

I've tried some of their conventional scopes and eventually sold them. The glass was clear enough and I had no problems with them but did not care for some other features. They were about 1/4 heavier than needed, eye releif was too close for my tastes, and you get a "tunnel vision" effect with the ones I used. Meaning there was a think black ring around the edge of the view. There are other scope brands that have a clear sharp view with only a tiny thin black circle on the outer edge and with almost 2X the eye relief.

If those features don't bother you, they make good scopes for the money.

+1 on the Vortex Viper PST 1-4x. It is an excellent all-around scope, a bargain for the price and near perfect for 3-gun competition.

Ridge runner,

Nice rig.

Thanks :)

She doesn't really anything for me, though, anymore...might sell her, maybe buy something else a bit more fun. Today was the first time I've taken her out in almost 6 months, since I got my Garand. And I could barely be arsed to put a whole mag through her.
