ARLINGTON PULLS "GUN CONTROL" LAW Arlington Police stop wasting resources on redundant waiting period
Newington, VA --- Arlington County has recognized that forcing citizens to wait several days to purchase handguns is a waste of police resources and potentially dangerous. The Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) has verified via Freedom of Information Act requests that Arlington officials have told county gun dealers they will no longer be enforcing Arlington's
obsolete gun waiting period.
At the request of VCDL, Senator Emmett Hanger (R-24) has introduced SB-1303 a bill which will repeal the obsolete gun control laws across the commonwealth of Virginia. The actions of Arlington County prove that these laws are no longer needed and should
be repealed!
The Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) is a grassroots organization dedicated to
defending the civil rights of all Virginians. The membership of the VCDL considers the right to keep and bear arms an essential civil right. The VCDL is the fastest
