Virginia - Pennsylvania CCW Reciprocity

There have been several recent TFL threads concerning Virginia - Pennsylvania CCW Reciprocity and also Pennsylvania non-resident CCW permits. Accordingly, I thought the following e-mail, received today, might be of interest to some members:

"This is in response to your question. Virginia Attorney General's Office
sent a reciprocity agreement to the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office
approximately one year ago and they have not responded to that agreement. I
trust this information will be of a benefit to you.

Lieutenant Robert G. Kemmler, Virginia State Police"

Maybe it's time for some Pennsylvania members to ask their Attorney General to take action on this request.

The text of that letter should tell us how bogus that concept of "written-agreement reciprocity is."

You should lobby your legislature to enact unilateral recognition of other state's permit. You will have many more states covered by your friggin' laminated liberty card.

Hey Rick, I posted the e-mail received today from Virginia Sate Police to help update our membership. I appreciate what you're saying, but I hope you'll understand that a major TFL function is to share news, regardless of personal opinions concerning that information.
