While link hopping, I stumbled into this site - http://www.vcdl.org - seems these folks are reasonably responsible for the Virginia CCW passage.

There is a wealth of info there, some of which may also be elsewhere, and a lot that isn't. On the home page under Hot Items is a case where a Texas judge has ruled on our side of 2nd Amen.

BTW: As I understand it, "Amen" is generally (universally) accepted as "So Be It"; "amend" means change/edit; "amendment" is that change or edit published - implemented. The 2nd AMENdment then must be defined as "... the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed - SO BE IT!!!", right?

That's odd. The link is correct, but their server seems to be down at the moment. The VCDL was instrumental in the CCW passage and in keeping the fees reasonable and uniform in the various counties.

All Hands (Tues 23 May 1558EDT): Still no joy on any of the pages I viewed last night.

Seems they are off-line (since earlier this AM). I've emailed webmaster@www.vcdl.org without reply as yet.

Keep trying and please notify when up - thanks.

BTW: Aren't we experiencing much of this same thing elsewhere? Hate to think "interdicting" ...

www.vcdl.org is up. Webmaster said server system provider had failure and worked it out.

Good site to pick out the Legislature people who are pro-us, those anti, and the middle riders. Other info and good links too.
