vintage shells

the other day i found two boxes of winchester 410 shells each from about 1970.
First, would the primers in the shells still be good. Second would these shells or the box be worth anything to a collector?

I have no idea what they are worth, but i frequently fire ammo in my m44 that was made in 1954. ive fired several hundred rounds of it and it has never miss fired.

Stuff from the 1970's aren't vintage ... its from my college days ...

If the shells have been kept dry and out of extreme temps - real hot or freezing cold - they should be fine to shoot.

Are they worth anything - $10 - $15 a box probably / if its a standard winchester box, in mint condition, nothing special but $ 2 - $3 probably...

If you have a 410, have fun firing them. Unless they were stored underwater all this time, they should be just fine. - and no, they're not really old enough to be considered classic
