Video - Shooting Taylors & Co Remington cartridge conversion

Thanks for the video, it was first rate.
Except for the obvious hard to hear audio on the range.
A better mike setup is needed for the outdoors, whatever that would be.
Otherwise, it was very enjoyable as well as informative.

I guess comments have been disabled, but it's a good video!

I would love to know if you cleaned it in between those rounds of black, or exactly how many you ran through it before cleaning, or if it began to bind from the shooting of holy black. I've thought of getting one, but after finding out the hard way that some, but not all modern cartridge reproductions are a bit tight for blackpowder use.

Andy,

I did not clean it between takes. But I sid oil the contact point between the cylinder and frame. This Remington handled the fouling better than most, in my opinion.

All told I put 30 B-P rounds through it that day and 15 smokeless. I cleaned it when I got home.

I have one of these revolvers. They are very nice guns. When I got mine the cylinder was a bit too tight in the frame. I ran a file across the rear of the barrel where it contacts the cylinder (about 3 times). Since then, I have no problems with it. I lube the cylinder pin with mutton tallow/beeswax and I can get 4-5 cylinders before it even starts to get a little sticky.
