VIDEO - First Look at Ruger Vaquero

Just picked up a Ruger Vaquero, chambered in .45LC and absolutely love it. In case anyone has not ever seen one before, here's a short video:

That is actually a medium framed New Vaquero (so named on the side of the revolver). The old Vaquero was built on a larger frame. Yes, there are lots them out there and popular .... blued or stainless. Enjoy. Just be aware that your revolver will not handle .45 Colt Ruger Only Loads. Standard .45 Colt loads is the way to go!

+1 to what RClark just said. Ruger and distributors/vendors have confused things in the last two years by calling all New Vaqueros (large N) just "Vaquero" in their literature and ads...and by actually labeling one of the NV's just Vaquero on the frame--the .44 Special--the only caliber so mis-labeled (so far).

I have no idea what that "little flash" was at 18 seconds. Meteor? Asteroid? Blaster shot?

I suspect perhaps just a glitch on the video, but it is kind of freaky.

Yes, he was, that was my son, who had never shot a revolver before.

I put the reduced power springs on mine, and it is an absolute sharp shot now. I love my Vac's.
