Very odd decision to make... need advice

I recently sold my beloved M&P9c. Now I need to decide what to get next. My list seems to be a odd choice. I am looking at a Rossi R92 357 lever rifle, a fullsize M&P45, a CZ75B, or save a few more dollars and get a Remington 1911 R1. The wife would prefer a lever rifle. I absolutley loved the M&P but wanted to go bigger (not compact). I would like to go 1911 but don't want to spend more money (would take some time to make that jump). Consider it a poll and let me know what you might do.

Thanks.

Rock Island Armory 1911A1.

They go for $400.00 and change and they're a good gun.

Might be difficult to find one now with all the hysteria going on.

I love CZs. I think you'd fall in love with a full size 75.

On the other hand, if you don't have a 1911, a Remington is a great choice for a first one. A little more refined than the Phillipine guns (and they're great too, don't get me wrong) and in God's own caliber.

M&P45; nothing too exciting. Great gun, but still striker fired polymer and expensive to feed. I'd lean to one of the others.

The wife would prefer a lever rifle.

And the answer is: Rossi R92 357 lever rifle.

I had a CZ 75bd for ten years. Great gun and very easy to shoot accurately. However it is a rather outdated design and the newer SP/P01 models have more up-to-date controls that I really enjoy.

I've also been eyeballing an M&P 45 as well. Of course it would need the Apex trigger kit. I had a Glock 21 but was put off by the width, trigger mush and grip angle. The M&P seems to address that.

Depending on what other weapons you might have stored away, I'd go with the lever rifle. Always wanted one in 357 myself. Also, you'd be able to share range time with your wife, and that's always good.

Honestly, a little hard to say, without knowing if you have any gaps in your utility lineup. If you have your bases covered there, then you're talking about wants instead of needs. I'd love a 357 lever action myself, sounds like the most fun. I already have a 357 revolver and I'm a big fan of consolidating calibers. Plus it gives you the flexibility of using 38 special.

I currently have a model 60 3" in 38 special I shoot most. The wife has a model 637 in 38. I have a px4 full size in 9mm. A couple 22 pistols and rifles. I cast and load for 38, 9mm, and 40 so far. By far the consensus from a couple forums is the lever gun. I also don't have to come up with any extra $$ for it.

If you're willing to spend some cash, I couldn't recommend the HK45 more.

I love mine, But I had to save up for a while to get it.

I prefer full size pistols, compacts just don't feel right in my hands.
