Verona LX680GCS-12 Trying to find Owners of the Verona LX680 Shotguns. Would like to know the likes & dislikes. I'm interested in one. Thanks!

How many forums are you going to ask this on? Maybe I'm wrong but I believe you had this question answered and then some already.

Verona

Before I ordered the Shotgun I was attempting to get as much diverse information on the Shotgun that I could obtain. I'm not sure if I mistakenly ask the question more than once or not on this forum. A friend that shoots Perazzi answered the question before I asked the question the first time on any forum. I believe I will go with his advice!

While it's certainly nice to seek advice why does someone shooting a Perazzi relate to you seeking info on a Verona? Truth be told most high end gun owners will probably not recommend an mid level gun like the Verona.

They are decent guns for the money. Pick one up and compare it to the lower end Beretta or Browning. Wood finish probably won't be as good but you'll get more gun for the money that's equal in quality. I don't own any Verona's but I've shot several and they shoot fine. With the exception of the thread you started on SGW I've never heard of any problems with them. Gander Mountain is one of the largest Verona dealers and they have not had any issues with the guns. They are very popular in the upper midwest and get shot a lot without issue.

I have no idea what model you're looking at but to offer an example, compare the Verona 680 to a Beretta 686 or Browning 525. The wood won't be as nice out of the box, the bluing will be matte, but it has an equal fit and finish on metal parts, plus it comes with more options. It's about $700 cheaper than the Beretta and $1000 cheaper than the Browning. Plus it has a lifetime warranty.

The guns are actually made by Rizzini and they sell them under the F.A.I.R name. These aren't new cheapy guns, just newer to U.S. consumers.

EDIT: I just noticed you're asking about one of the nicer Verona models. Chances are the cosmetic finish will be equal to or better than the "B" guns. Some of them have incredible wood and nice bluing.

Well, I ahave to agree with DD on this. You want to know aout them on this forum, and yet at the same time, you come to another site and trash them??!! What gives, do want to know about that model, or just stir the pot??

BTW, I do own the LX680GCS and love it. So if you are for real, I will gladly answer any questions about that particular model, or any other Verona for that matter. Just amke up you mind on what you are doing or I am not going to waste anymore of my time. ;)
