Anyone else here a big AK fan like myself?? I got to check out some new Vepr AK's at Atlantic Firearms ,wow these things are super nice!! Makes me want to get Yet another AK... AltlanticFirearms.com will be offering these in 762 x 39 , .308 , 5.45x 39 and 762 x 54R ... The .308 was Dreamy!!

New Vepr Made in Russia Hunting /target rifle in traditional caliber of 7.62X39mm. With 50% more HEAVY DUTY receiver that also has double reinforcement and crowned with extra heavy duty Target like barrel !
Here is a Vepr 7.62x39mm converted by Red Jacket Firearms ( Sons of Guns ) Available as well .

What do you guys think??? They feel very stout & well made in the hand , I haven't had a chance to shoot one , but hopefully I will soon .. I will definitely come back with a full range report!!

Very cool. I got my 5/45 Saiga from Atlantic. If I had the $ I'd make an RPK out of a 5.45 or a 7.62x39.

my vepr is indeed a fine rifle,with calvin surplus 762x51 ammo its easy to hit 6 inch steel plates painted white at 200yds from a bench. in over 800 rounds i have not had one ftf or fts. no problems at all,zero. i may change out the butt stock,but i will not pay thru the nose to do it. eastbank.

I can't see spending that much on something that is darn near similar to my Saiga conversion...which is also chrome lined.
