Can one use AK magazines in a VEPR chambered for the Soviet 7.62mm (7.62x39mm, I think) Cartridge? My guess is not, but I would like to know if anyone knows for sure. Skorzeny
i think the catch at the front is different from any other AK.
this is the reason it is the only russian semi imported. The VEPR 7.62x39m and the .223 will prolly have the same unique mag http://www.robarm.com/vepr223%20page.html
The legislation also prohibits any firearms which are substantially identical to any of the above firearms; any semi-automatic shotgun
with either a magazine capacity exceeding six rounds, a conspicuous pistol grip, or a folding stock; a semi-automatic rifle with a fixed magazine capacity exceeding 15 rounds. Any magazine with a capacity greater than fifteen rounds is prohibited, even if there is no semi-automatic firearm to accompany the magazine.
that looks like the 10 round mag gets the gun into NJ
