Vehicle carry help ????

My dilema......
In order to comply with Ohio's CCW vehicle carry policy, your weapon must be on your person and in plain view. With this in mind , i would like to know if there is a strap on or velcro holster that can be attached to the thigh so it is readily visible ??? Have looked through my suppliers and at gun shows and haven't seen anything that i'm happy with...... I usually carry my H&K P7M13, which isn't all that large. Tried to modify a Uncle Mikes ankle holster, but not all that good.. :(
 
The law sucks... I believe that I get around it by having a small gun case with a combination lock sitting next to me on the front seat. My pistol is easily within reach, and if a LEO pulls me over I casually reach over, close the case and spin the lock with my thumb. It's my understanding that it's OK to transport in a clearly visible locked case, as well as "on your person, clearly visible". Plus when I get home I can spin the lock and my kids can't get to it. My two cents for what ever little it's worth.
