Varminting rifle ideas

I am in the market for a new varminting rifle. I have no idea where to even start looking. Up until now I have done all my varminting with an AR type rifle. Although this has been GREAT. I'd like a little change to a bolt gun. I want something accurate out of the box, that I don't have to put a lot of money into to make "right".
I'd like to keep the price reasonable!
What rifles should I consider, brands and models.
What caliber? I'm considering .223, 22-250, 220 swift, or any others that might be sugested.
Thank you all for the input.

A Remington 700 VS in your favorite caliber. Just hard to beat out of the box.
The VS is available in .223, 22-250, and .308. .223 would be easier on the barrel. Sling Shot

I own a Remington 700 VS in .223. It shots great. I can't believe the accuracy out of the box. You can't go wrong with the 700.
Good luck.

I have a Remington 700 VS in .308. What a great gun. If your AR is in .223, I would definetly suggest going with the VS in .223. Having a good bold gun and a good semi-auto in the same caliber is about as good as it gets. Good luck.
