Does anyone know where you can purchase speed loaders for revolvers made by a German Company by the name: "S.L. Variant"? Need them for a S&W model 686. Thanks, W.T.
There was some discussion on the IDPA board of a group order of SL Variant speedloaders from Germany (There has not been a US importer since Dillon quit carrying them.) but it kind of faded out when it turned out the dollar vs euro exchange rate, etc, was going to put the cost around $48 each.
I checked the online catalog for Frankonia Jagd, the big chain hunting store in Germany, and all they had were HKS speedloaders. On the bright side, it's made in America!
He only lists J and K frame.
Pity, so many revolver competitors use L frame Smiths and there are a few old Colt shooters out here. I have one (1.0) SL bought to try out in Python and 686 (It is adjustable over a narrow range so as to work for both.) but they dropped off the market before I could stock up.
