Anybody have this gun?

I would like to get once that is also fitted with a 10 mm cylinder, which I think Ruger made, but is no longer available.

Can the 40 S&W cylinder be reamed out so it can take 10 mm or do I just need to get a 10 mm cylinder?

Anybody know if Ruger will help make the modifications, or fit with a 10 mm cylinder?

I have one of the "Buckeye Specials" 10MM / .38-40. Since I load up the .38-40 to near .41mag velosities, I don't see why the .40 couldn't be bored out. However I see why Ruger went with .40S&W. The 10mm seems to be dropping to the wayside and since the single action headspaces on the case mouth, they wanted to make sure you could find store bought ammo in the years to come.

The 10mm will hang around as a "cult cartridge" for a LONG time, and yes, the .40 cylinder can be bored deeper. A lot of people do that. You could also score another .40 cylinder to do that with, or find a 10mm cylinder.
