Hey guys and gals, what is the current going price of a stainless P95 in excellent condition, with two mags and the original case? I have a guy wanting to trade his for my sporterized Eddystone 1917 .30-06 that I estimate is worth maybe around $300, not totally sure though. Would this be a good trade?

Last time I saw new stainless P95s for sale the best deals had them priced around $320 before tax.

You can find them for sale used these days for $300 plus or minus $50 depending on condition.

P95: Solid Pistol

Howdy,

There's nothing wrong with Ruger's reliable P95. It would make a good home defense/ truck gun, regardless of one's budget.

My main question is, would a sporterized 1917 Eddystone be a good trade? I'm thinking so, I'm definitely more interested in the pistol than a bubba'd rifle. But if I could sell the Eddystone for more than the pistol is worth, I'd rather do that. And sorry, I know I'm asking for rifle value now in the pistol forum

Maybe look on Guns America or similar site to gauge the retail on your sporter. I would bet it's not much higher than $300.

Unless there is a big difference, I would make the deal. My P95 was one of the best pistols I have ever owned, perfectly reliable with U.S. spec. ammo through thousands of rounds. I wish I still had it.

Don't know if this helps, but a fellow I know wanted and quickly sold his similar Ruger for $250.
Both buyer and seller seemed happy with the deal.
