Value of a used P95DC

I'm considering trading up for a Khar 4040A. I've currently only got a Ruger P95, and its a bitch to carry (I'm a short medium build male, if I don't wear 3 layers of clothing you can easily see the Ruger on my hip). Here's what I've got
Ruger P95DC, several years old with lots of ammo through it, but well cared for and in good-excellent shape. 3 10rd mags. original case, 1 Bianchi molded holster.
This is really for planning purposes only, I've got a $400 digital camera on layaway, so it'll be a month or two before I can afford to start paying on the Khar.

The standard answer is, "whatever you can get."

But a realistic answer is $25 - $75 less than a new one, if you're selling privately, or even more of a discount if you're selling to a dealer.

Shop around and you'll see these guns, new, selling for as little as $230 (but generally closer to $300), and Ruger is offering a $25 rebate on new ones, right now.

You might want to keep it... and get your Kahr anyhow.

(Have you shot the Kahr, yet? Great guns, but not as pleasant to shoot as the P-95. The forty gets "right snappy.")

I shot a new P-9 the other day and was really pleasantly surprised by the great DAO trigger.

If able, sell it privately. Private sales are legal in Washington State but I don't know about Utah. Around here if I put your P-95, as described, for sale in one of the "nickel" type papers I could probably get around $350 for it. Good Luck, J. Parker
