Value of 38 special anyone

I'm trying to find the value of a s&w 38 chiefs special revolver. Serial number 756364. I have the dates and all just need to know an estimated value please.

I will look it up in the books, but the best way to get a "real world" feel for the retail is to check gunbroker and other online sellers IMO. The blue book says $595 for 98%... $225 for 50%.

The 3" often brings a bit more, as does the steel square butt. The combination, especially with 1/8" sights will also run higher.
