My old man owns two .310 skeet remington shotshell #12 rimfire guns. They were made in Brazil for remington back in the 60s or 70s. He used to work in the Illion Rem plant and thats where he picked up these two. Know the ammos just about impossible to get in large amounts, we have about 100 rounds left, he was shooting them 'till i bought him a .410 to use instead.
was just wondering if anyone knew of what value these guns might be worth, one of them was just about never used, the other has about 200 rounds through it but still looks beautiful as it was never taken out of the house further than the woodpile to deal with squirls... any information is muchly appreciated ty ~~

Sorry, can't help with the value (or any other info, as I've never seen or heard of them!)...

But would be interested in seeing any pictures, of both guns and shells you might have! Sounds like they are very interesting and unusual guns.

I've never seen any of this stuff in person. John

OK, just what I suspected, 9mm rimfire shotshells.

These used to be pretty common, mainly in Europe, but they did make some inroads into the US markets at various times.

actualy its an 8mm shotshell according to the box of ammo i have.. ty for the post on price, not sure if i could get 450 but its a ballpark figure i suppose :P ty

I recall an old magazine article describing the .310 outfit. The first ones were based on the 572 .22 pump with .32 barrel and bolt, but operating as single shots with no change to magazine tube. You have the Brazilian production model.

yeah break open single shot style, great gun for shooting, just cant get ammo is all, no good to me with a limited volume of ammo i do have, but might try and sell it with 50 rounds or something, know if i keep it ill prolly end up using up all the ammo...
another note my brother in law has a remington 5mm rimfire rifle, has 50 rounds for that baby but hes gonna use them all up he said, bah

.310 shotgun

Many years ago you posted that your father owned two .310 shotguns. Does he still have them? For sale? Thanks.
