Valtro 1998 A1 45 ACP

Hey guys this is my first post here. I'm here asking for a little insight. I was wondering what you guys think I could get for an original Valtro 1998 A1 45 ACP. Only a couple rounds through it and in perfect condition with original box and papers. I'm just asking around not ready to part with it yet.

First I'd heard of it, but since it's a 1911 type it's likely a good pistol. What stands out about it?

The 1998a1's don't come up too often used. The last time I saw one offered was probably 5 to 7 years ago for around $1,400, but I'm not sure what it ultimately sold for. If I recall correctly, that's about what Jardine was selling the basic version for new back in the early part of this century.

Depending upon upgrades it seems these could quickly climb well north of $2,000, as Jardine customs are on par with the likes of Wilson, Nighthawk, Baer in terms of quality and desirability.

But at the end of the day, you'll have to locate someone that knows these well and is willing to pay more than just your run of the mill used 1911 pricing.
