USP9c 13 Rounders - I've Actually Found some

The fabled 13 round pre-ban magazines for the USP compact in 9mm were said to be a thing of myth.

Those who were said to have ownership of this Holy Grail of the firearms world were said to be in possession of evil baby killing LEO only magazines.

But 'tis true, for I have found them for sale, all shiny new and legal.

I'm in a state of shock, I take it all back.

Mike - I hate to attempt to rain on your parade - but wasn't the USP-9 Comp introduced after 14 SEP 94? I'm not sure, but I think it was & thus the 13-rd'ers - despite being unmarked - might be illegal to possess. I saw a similar comment/question about 9mm SigPro mags a while back. Those mags might be unmarked - but they would be of at least questionable legality in the US. Not trying to be an outhouse lawyer - just some food for thought.

Well I know there are being offered on Gunbroker for $75 each as part of a package with a new USP9c, I also believe they can be had from One Eyed Jack Inc. but I can't verify this.

GeoJelly - I have looked into this since I posted the original. According to the much respected HkPro board, any 13 round unmarked magazine is a "grey import" and almost certainly illegal. I previously believed that there was an early H&K production run made just prior to the 1994 ban, specifically designed to beat it, but this would appear to be untrue.

I am now wondering just how many owners are holding potential Felony evidence.

Anyone know more on this ?

there were only 2 choices in the USP lineup prior to sept,14 1994...9sillymeter and 40S@who....every other hi cap magazine is a big potential problem...there were no compacts..there was no MK23 available to the puplik until 1995..tacticals and experts were still dancing in our heads as we dreampt of things to come..HK-out
