USP standard or expert???

Back on this kick again. Other than price, is there much difference between a standard USP 45 and an expert? I know the expert has that O-ring barrel going for it, but is it that noticeable a difference than the standard?

Other than the longer slide (& longer barrel), possible extended magazine well, adjustable sights and adjustable match grade trigger, not much. They are said to be scary accurate.

I was looking long and hard at the Expert before I went with the plain USP and never regretted it. The USP is just right unless you plan on competing IMO.

Plain 'ol USP .45 works great and seems to be
just as accurate as my MK23.
Of course I think HK pistols are more
accurate than any person.
They are all reliable,accurate etc..
Get the one you can afford...

I have an expert and tactical and both are great. Both are way too big to carry but for range duty and home defense, HK's are tough to beat.

I'm an expert...

fan. I have one and it's absolutely accurate, more than me. Sweet
trigger, nice mags (we can get the 12 rounders in Switzerland), good
ergonomics for people with large hands.

The only catch is IMO the front strap serrations which got somewhat
very sharp on my gun.
