USP barrel conversion

I have a .40 USP fullsize, would it be possible to get a barrel for it to make it .357 sig and and how much would it cost? Would I just need a magazine for it? how about 9?

http://www.efkdragon.com/ has them. $189.99 for a ported barrel, didn't look at the non-ported price. Unfortunately, my USP is a 9mm so I can't convert. It's great the way it is, but....
Anyway, my son-in-law has has one of EFK's ported barrels in his Mil-Spec .45. I have put quite a few rounds through it and have been impressed. They're working on one now for the Ruger P97 in .400 Cor-Bon. When that one hits the market I may have to place an order. Check their site out. I think you'll be impressed.
I think I also saw .357 Sigs for the HK on Barsto's site. Good hunting.

I agree re: looks. If I were to drop the .400CB into my 1911 I'd get the ported. For my P97 I'd go for the standard length. Their barrels, anyway my son-in-laws, sure seem to be smooth and well finished. Somebody at the mfg end sure knows their way around an EDM.
I've been a little concerned about mags, also. It seems too simple for the .357 SIG to work in the .40SW mags and likewise for the .400CB to feed through .45ACP's. Any experience out there?

For the USP compact the mags are Identical except for stamping.

I use them completely interchangibly with either caliber. As stated above the full size doesn't seem to feed reliably with the conversion. Don't know if a mag problem or something else. Lots of info over at www.hkpro.com

I have a Jarvis 400 Corbon barrel for my 45 USP Compact and have had no problems with it. It is extended and threaded and I have shot it with a fake suppressor attached - again no problems. I also have a extended stainless 45 barrel from Olympic Arms which I got at a gun show in Spokane, WA It had some pitting on the outside but was perfect in the barrel - I only paid $30 for it so it was a bargain.
